You don’t need a professional camera to get decent photos and videos. SLR cameras are awesome but come with a hefty price, are bulky, and weigh a ton. I like my camera gear as light as possible as I only travel with carry-on bags. Depending on my trip I will carry all or some of the following…a small drone, iPhone with wide angle lens, GoPro, GoPro karma grip, and various accessories to go with these devices.
Protect your electronics with bags that are designed to deter thieves!
I use this bag to carry my laptop and some light camera gear with me everywhere. Most bags are designed for comfort and style but very few also have security measures to protect my expensive gear from thieves. That is, until I found PacSafe. They have many security measures such as a wire eXomesh that helps protect your gear from slash-and-grab bullshit. The shoulder straps have wire woven into them so thieves can’t cut the straps easily and run off. Also included are pockets with RFID blocking magic. My favorite part is the zippers that lock together and then slide into a Roobar system where you can attach a small luggage lock!
PacSafe Anti-Theft Carry-On Backpack
This carry-on bag is my favorite of any bag I’ve ever had. It has many of the features discussed in the shoulder bag—like eXomesh, slash-resistant straps, RFID blocking pockets, and the locking zippers that slide into a Roobar that is hidden behind a flat panel. But the backpack also includes a wire cable for strapping it to an airport chair or inside a hostel if there isn’t a locker. It opens like a clam shell like normal luggage and makes it easier to organize. When it’s loaded, the bag gets pretty heavy so the hip belt is a must-have so my shoulders don’t die. I sometimes use this bag as a day bag for exploring the city or hiking because it’s so comfy. I just tighten the side straps to make it more compact.

You just spent an assload on a computer and camera gear, lock that shit up!

Strap these things to poles, cars, motorcycles, or whatever to get photos at unique angles. I have a suction cup and clamp.
It’s waterproof! And has endless options for mounting. The image/video quality is on point yo!
Casey Accessories Case
You’ll need to put your pile of accessories into something. I love this one as it’s compact, has customizable compartments, and an awesome zipper bag for the lil bitches that try n get lost.
Great for when you are flying through trees like “George of the Jungle” or when you are strapped to some winged device that requires both hands to operate.

Mini Manfrotto Tripod
For when you are too weak to hold the GoPro any longer. Or for time lapses.
Carbon Fiber GoPro Pole
Please be careful with this item as it is linked with selfieitis, a disease where someone spends hours obsessing over getting the perfect selfie. May lead to duck lips, princess-pose, or other various symptoms of selfieitis.
Panning Head for Timelapse
It spins 360 degrees. Great for time-lapses or videos-lapses that you want to pan a certain scene. Can be used with GoPro or iPhone!
Aqua Filters for GoPro
Helps your photos/videos look more clear when frolicking in water.
Memory Cards for Camera
I recommend two 64 gig micro cards at the very least if you are shooting a buttload of video.
Mandatory for my design business, editing photos/videos, blogging, etc.
Universal Travel Adaptor
Why are there so many different types of plugs! Get a universal adapter so you don’t have to think about that.

If you want to charge multiple items at once, this is a must have. 2 plugs and 2 USB = happiness.
iPhone Charging Cord
Cuz that shit won’t charge itself.

Plug the micro SD card from your GoPro right into your iPhone and upload your Instacrack photos right away! Need to download a GoPro app.
Great for editing videos or drowning out annoying people at the cafe.
USB-C Quick Charge Battery Bank
Love this thang! I can plug it directly into my GoPro Karma grip so that it will last all day. Or charge my phone, GoPro, or any other device on the fly and never run out of battery!
This is by far the best phone camera I have used. Excellent colors, portrait mode is dope!
