Bryce Canyon, located in Utah, is the second stop on my summer 2016 Road Trip. The oddly shaped natural pillars are called hoodoos. The spiral shaped redrock formations are the result of erosion over time. I hiked down into the canyon to explore and get a close-up view of these weird-shaped rocks. My friend David joined me for the hike. After the hike, I biked the rim so I could cover more mileage in a short amount of time.
